What kind of game is Warcraft III?
 

Warcraft 3 is a strategy game, made by Blizzard Entertainment.

There are 4 races:
-Human
-Orcs
-Elves
-Undead

These 4 races each have their own buildings, units and abilities.
Also, there are heros you can summon (using gold). The heroes level by beating enemy troops. After each level your heroes gain, you can upgrade their abilities. Also you can find or buy items to equip your heroes with.

The Frozen Throne is an expansion of Warcraft III.
The expansion brings:
-More maps,
-New heroes

DOTA (Defence Of The Ancients) is a whole new way of playing Warcraft III, created by fans. When playing DOTA, you only command 1 unit, your hero, and try to defeat the opponent and his heroes and to destroy the enemy camp, thus winning the game.

Storyline?
 

Playing as one of the races you have to conquer the world.

It is also possible to download and play maps from websites on the internet.
