What is Age of Empires II?
 

Age of Empires is a real time strategy game. You can choose to play any of the 30 civilizations. Each civilization has it's own strenght's and weaknesses.

You are the leader of your civilization and you have to make sure that you have a good strong economy to insure that you can advance to further ages. This will enable you to use better equipment, which you can use to destroy your enemies. You can build castles, towers and walls for defence and military units like archers, pikemen, heavy cavalry, horse archers and siege weapons.

There are several gameplays possible, like
-Deathmatch: fight until there is only one survivor,
-Regicide: you lose when your king dies,
-Fortress: each player begins with his or her own fortress.

Storyline?
 

There are several campaign's in Age of Empires II. For example you can play as Joan of Arc or Ghengis Kahn.
